Jubilee Year 2025 will offer the faithful opportunities to participate in various jubilee events at the Vatican and in their own dioceses. For pilgrims who cannot travel to Rome, bishops around the world have designated their cathedrals or a popular Catholic shrine as special places of prayer for Jubilee Year pilgrims, offering opportunities for reconciliation, indulgences and other events intended to strengthen and revive the faith.
Following churches and shrines are designated as special places of prayer for pilgrims:
The basic conditions to gain an indulgence are that a person is moved by a spirit of charity, is "purified through the sacrament of penance and refreshed by Holy Communion" and prays for the pope. Groups of faithful who wish to organize pilgrimages to one or more of the above des ignated churches or shrines should coordinate with the designated site so that the pilgrims can be properly welcomed and have access to the Sacraments, especially confession.

First Communion and Confirmation preparation programs are two years each. Children must be 6 years of age or older to register for the First Communion Program.
All families must be registered in our Parish.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) and Adult Faith Formation at St. Joseph is beginning in September.
The U.S. Catholic Bishops have revised the catechumenate process that prepares and welcomes adults seeking Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, Confirmation, and/or those that are Baptized Non-Catholics seeking full acceptance into the Catholic Church, as well as those already fully initiated & seeking a deeper knowledge of the Catholic Faith.

St. Vincent De Paul ministry assisted 130 families with food and clothes.
We thank Panera Bread for their on-going bread donations, and also our community and to the Brazilian community for replenishing our St. Vincent pantry.
The Food Pantry Is In Need Of Can Food (vegetables, spaghetti sauce, fruits, tuna, pasta). Please bring donations to the Parish Office - Do not leave in the Church or Church grounds. Please call the parish office to register.

Stewardship
As we rejoice in this miracle of new beginnings, we are called to reflect on how we, too, can share in the stewardship of His gifts. Easter invites us to offer our time, talents, and treasures in gratitude for all that God has given us. Just as Christ gave Himself for us, we are called to offer ourselves in service to others, helping to sustain the Church's mission and spread the light of Christ to those in need.
“…He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” (ACTS 10:38)
We can’t give what we don’t have. Open your heart to receive God’s love, mercy and forgiveness. Then, show the same to others through your Stewardship. As God’s adopted sons and daughters, we are made in His image and likeness. As Pope Benedict XVI says, “we are made for greatness.” Let our lives reflect His light to others. Pray to live a grateful and generous life. Strive for greatness! We are made for more! We are made for God!
En este alegre Domingo de Resurrección, celebramos la gloriosa resurrección de nuestro Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo. "...El anduvo haciendo bien y sanando a todos los oprimidos por el diablo; porque Dios estaba con Él." (Hechos 10:38)
No podemos dar lo que no tenemos. Abra su corazón para recibir el amor, la misericordia y el perdón de Dios. Y luego, mostrar lo mismo a los demás. Somos hijos adoptivos de Dios, somos hechos a Su imagen y semejanza. Como dice el Papa Benedicto XVI, “hemos sido hechos para la grandeza”. Permitamos que nuestras vidas reflejen Su luz a los demás. Rece para vivir una vida agradecida y generosa. ¡Persiga la grandeza! ¡Hemos sido hechos para más! ¡Hemos sido hechos para Dios!
